New Zealand’s standardbred breeders have kicked off the new season with events in Auckland, Christchurch and Invercargill.

Organised by our three regional affiliates, each event had its own character while delivering a single message around celebrating the breeding activity; with presentations from the country’s commercial studs, the launch of the 2021 Stallions Register, industry networking and socialising with like-minded people.

Please find below links to presentations made. If you were unable to attend one of the events there’s plenty in here to get you enthused about breeding your mare(s) in 2021. Especially when combining the opportunities presented with other positive changes happening in the industry, such as the change of birthday with all its implications for young racehorses, and funding increases announced.
